The South Wales Short Story Competition was created to give unpublished writers a platform with which they can start their writing careers. We are pleased to now announce the winners of The South Wales Short Story Competition.
The SF & Comic Extravaganza, held at the Masonic Hall in Bath last weekend, went really well. The display of work by Jim Burns, Graham Humphreys, James Ledger, Jennie Gyllblad, Andy York, John Nakivell, Sam Goddard/Michael Henderson and Andy Bigwood was superb. Oh, and my own work was there too, of course! There was a great turnout, which was very encouraging. Thanks go to the organizers, Jan and Mike of Roundstone Framing, for doing a fantastic job of making this event a reality and looking after all the artists. Looking forward to next year!

Previous News : SD now has a new website design. I hope you will like it. I've simplified the layout in many areas to make it easier to navigate and there's also a search feature to help you find what you are looking for. There is still more to add yet, so please bear with me while I continue updating each section, thank you.
Screaming Dreams is currently closed to full book submissions until at least 2014.
Submissions are always welcome for the Estronomicon eZine, so please do keep sending those along, thank you. Or if you have something suitable for the free eBook section then I'd be pleased to hear about that too.
Artwork : Prints and Commissions
Don't forget to check out my Artwork section too. Signed prints of most images can be ordered on request. I am always open to new commissions and can work to all budgets, so please get in touch if you have a project in mind. Or if you see any existing images you like then Publishing Rights are also available at reasonable rates.

FantasyCon and BristlCon are now over for this year (both were excellent conventions and it was great to catch up with some of you there), but I may also be attending some smaller events before the year is out so keep watching for any news of where Screaming Dreams will be touting their wares!
