SUBMISSIONS

The eZine requires cover art, interior illustrations, short stories, interviews, book & magazine reviews, non-fiction articles, convention & event information, site links and general news relating to fantasy, sci-fi and horror.

This project is non-profit and as such there will be no payments available to contributors I'm afraid. I have to rely on the generosity of free content to keep this alive. It also provides free extra exposure for your work, of course!

All submissions remain Copyright of each contributor and will be clearly labelled in the eZine. If you would like to contribute then please contact me for more info.

Please do NOT e-mail me any image or file attachments UNTIL told to do so, as they will be automatically deleted by my spam filters. Send a plain text e-mail to explain what you would like to submit. I will then get back to you and provide further instructions on how to send your work.

Formatting Rules : Short stories and all other text material should be saved in Rich Text (*.rtf) or Word (*.doc) format. Use single line spacing, NO headers or footers, and please do NOT use underline instead of italics!

Word count for short stories and non-fiction articles should be between 1000 and 5000 words max.

All artwork should be saved in JPEG (*.jpg) format and be approx 800 pixels wide by 1000 pixels high, but higher-res images are welcome. Make sure any cover pieces have enough area at the top to allow for the title overlays.

About the eZine

The name Estronomicon is derived from the Welsh word 'estron', meaning 'strange'. The rest of course is inspired by the infamous Necronomicon, so the zine title means something like 'Book Of The Strange'. I thought this may be an appropriate description for the type of content that will be included! Hope you like it anyway.

The idea for the eZine was born after attending my first convention. I had already been running the Screaming Dreams site for a few years by that point, but was looking for a way to expand the existing online showcase features. The convention gave me some new ideas and the first issue of Estronomicon was released in January 2006.

The special editions at Halloween and Christmas are always the most popular issues each year!
