The name Estronomicon is derived from the Welsh word 'estron', meaning 'strange'. The rest of course is inspired by the infamous Necronomicon, so the zine title means something like 'Book Of The Strange'. I thought this may be an appropriate description for the type of content that will be included! Hope you like it anyway.
The idea for the eZine was born after attending my first convention. I had already been running the Screaming Dreams site for a few years by that point, but was looking for a way to expand the existing online showcase features. The convention gave me some new ideas and the first issue of Estronomicon was released in January 2006.
The special editions at Halloween and Christmas are always the most popular issues each year!
