Tranquillity. A town of peace and calmness…
It should be a happy day for young Amy, after all it’s her sixteenth birthday and the residents of Tranquillity are preparing for the festivities. But the celebrations are about to be marred with the arrival of unexpected guests, a group of thieves and murderers who have no time for pleasantries.
The townsfolk, beaten into submission, finally have to revive some old traditions and crimes do not go unpunished.
Extract from the book :
They didn’t all ride into town like outlaws from the Wild West.
Motorhead had insisted that most of them wait off the road, out of sight. He only took Bitch and Timmy along to partake in their latest money making (I should say taking) scheme.
“Takin’ care of business.” The Elvis impression was poor, but they all laughed regardless as he rode away with his ‘compardres’.
Everyone laughed when Motorhead did his Elvis. It could prove painful if you didn’t find the leader funny. You quickly found out the hard way that it was better to be amused by the shoddy accent. Little fingers never did set right after he broke them.
Now they all laugh. It makes life easier and less agonising.
